In addition to the permanent exhibits, Kansas City Museum presents a regular series of changing exhibits. These have addressed a wide variety of subjects exploring the history of the city and the region, and the cultures of the peoples who call Kansas City home.
Original exhibits have been developed from the encyclopedic Museum collections, and others have traveled from our colleague institutions nationwide. These publications document some Museum exhibitions during the past two years, and feature essays from a variety of visiting scholars and historians. Here are a few that we are proud to have hosted in the past.
