The Trombone Christmas Kansas City Concert was founded by Dr. Frank Perez and Mr. William Biggs in 2017 and is presented to promote and encourage the fellowship and musicianship of trombone players through the performance of Christmas Music. Participation in the concert is open to trombone players of all ages and experience levels. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned trombonist, we hope that you will join us! Help us meet our goal of having a massed trombone choir of over 150 participants!
Trombone Christmas Kansas City will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017
Registration is $10 for each participant – Participants should plan to bring their trombone and a music stand. Sheet music will be provided by Meyer Music. Participants will have the option of purchasing their own copy of the official Trombone Christmas part book for $20 if they wish.
Decorating Contest: Decorate your trombone for this year’s event! The award will be given to the Trombone Christmas participant who is judged to have the most holiday spirit in dress and/or decoration. The judging will be done during the morning rehearsal with the prize awarded during the concert performance. There is no cost for participating. All participants are encouraged to enter!
Concert: Admission to the concert is free to the public and a part of the Christmas celebration at Union Station
