Science of Rock Educator Resources
The Science of Rock 'n' Roll is a memorable field trip for student groups of all ages. You will learn how our brains perceive, process, remember and react to music. Interactive displays demonstrate how different elements and instruments come into play when composing rock music. Your students will be engaged, inspired and eager to learn more long after the music stops. This will be THE field trip of the year!

Scholarships

Limited scholarship funding is available to qualifying school groups. Applications are provided upon request by calling 816-460-2020.

Limited bus transportation money for field trips to Science City is available to schools in the bi-state region – Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties in Missouri; Johnson and Wyandotte counties in Kansas. The funds have to be requested when reserving your field trip.
