KCP&L Great Electricity Show
Witness one of the most astonishing, amazing and sometimes shocking forces of nature – the power of electricity. Learn why you shouldn’t play with electricity, exactly where it comes from, what it looks like, what we’d do without it and more. Our expert scientist will demonstrate the power of electricity through exciting presentations including hair-raising balloons, shocking handshakes, bouncing bubbles, flying peanuts and an indoor lightning show.
Public show times are at 2 p.m. most Fridays and 11:30 a.m. most Saturdays, but call ahead to confirm.
After our show on Saturday January 3, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. the Great Electricity Show will not be shown for the rest of January to allow for equipment maintenence. The show will be availible for school bookings but public showings will not be availible till the month of February.
Admission to the show is included with the purchase of a Union Station Express or Round Trip ticket.
