SCIENCE CITY ON THE ROAD
Keep your children's interest in science thriving. Arrange for our Science City educators to visit your community or school event through our Science City on the Road Shows. These interactive science demonstrations and workshops stimulate interest and introduce basic science concepts in entertaining and memorable ways. Group leaders may request written descriptions of the standard science vocabulary and concepts.
Standard Fee: $200 per show, workshop, program or demo. Additional performances of the same program on the same day at the same location are only $150 more. No mileage fees are assessed for locations within 30 miles of Union Station. Union Station administrative staff will calculate the distance between Union Station and the event location using navigational software. The chart below outlines distance surcharges:
- 31-50 miles: $60
- 51-75 miles: $120
- 76-100 miles $180
