Audio Tours

If Union Station's walls could talk...

You want to hear what they would say? Just take an audio tour through the Station and learn all about the stories behind so much rich history. The walls come alive Friday, December 12, 2003, when the Station begins offering these unique tours that enable you to serve as your own guide.

You set the pace. You see all that you want to see – in the order you want to see it. And it’s really as simple as 1-2-3.

1. Go to Union Station ticketing and request an audio tour.
2. Follow the map and digital audio “wand.”
3. Press the numbers on the wand corresponding with the various points of interest you encounter.

And enjoy a trip back in time. From the Station’s grandiose opening in 1914, through both World Wars and the notorious Union Station Massacre. To the daily hustle and bustle, as thousands of passengers flow through the Station, answering the call, “All aboard!” To the remarkable renovation effort to restore the Station to its original glory.

Union Station is more than an architectural landmark. It is a historical treasure chest – filled with vivid, fascinating stories. Relive those stories as you tour the Station. Each nook and cranny has a tale to tell – a tale you’ll want to hear.
