North Outdoor Festival Area – The stunning new outdoor festival area is complete and will officially open in May 2017. “Haverty Family Yards”, incorporated in the 2.3 acre plaza is 32,000 sq. ft. of high-function space ideal for concerts, festivals, seasonal and private event rentals. From intimate to expansive, you name it… Union Station can now host it – outdoors! Be one of the first to reserve your special event in this historically unique space. Ticket Office – Centrally located inside the lower-level Theatre District entrance will be our new ticket office. Beautiful new digital displays will present guests with daily activities and future features. Interactive kiosks will support quick transactions for those who just need a ticket. And, the overall design will incorporate vibrant colors to coordinate with new finishes used in the Regnier Extreme Screen Theatre and upcoming Entrepreneurial Conference Center. Completion May 2017
Entrepreneurial Conference Center / Student Lunchroom – Adjacent to the Regnier Extreme Screen Theatre will be a state-of-the-art Entrepreneurial Conference Center with the capabilities to expand to an additional second room. An operable glass wall will separate it from the theatre lobby but can also remain open for events or activities. Audio/Visual equipment will also be installed to accommodate the needs of any affair. Additionally, this area will be flexible for private student lunchroom space. Completion April/May 2017
Battle of the Brains III Exhibit – Science City’s first ever outdoor exhibit will soon open for all ages to enjoy! Designed by 3rd graders from Mason Elementary School in partnership with Burns & McDonnell, Simple Machines at Play will be a 13,582 sq. ft. experiential celebration of elements that help us lift, pull, push, turn, cut, split and fasten.
