Create a disco ball and decorate it to celebrate the New Year!

Firework Twirler Wands | Location: Makers Studio
Create a firework twirler wand with colorful 2024-themed materials to ring in the new year!

Bracelets of the Year | Location: Creative Corner
Create a “word of the year” friendship bracelet with colorful beads and accessories!

New Year Tracking | Location: Science on a Sphere
Track which countries are celebrating the New Year all around the world.

Stage Show | Location: Maze Park 5:15 PM
Science City Educators present the best 2023 experiments and demos!

Balloon Drop Countdown | Location: Maze Park and Amazing Brain 6 PM
Ring in the New Year with a balloon drop featuring thousands of balloons!

Laser Holiday Magic | Location: Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium
Enjoy some of your favorite family-friendly Holiday classics spiced up with spectacular 3D lasers and smoke effects! A separate ticket is required.

New this Year! Two photo ops. Take the perfect New Year’s Eve selfies:
The widely popular Alpha-Lit KC letters: “NYE” will be decorated with festive balloons and a disco ball.
Boxwood greenery with a “Happy Noon Year’s Eve” neon sign.

Walk Around Magician 2 – 4 PM
A close-up, strolling magician brings an added element of fun, excitement and lots of guest participation. The Magician’s performance includes ropes, cups, balls, cards, rings, coins and more. The entire family will delight in the magical experience with laughing and bewilderment guaranteed.

Science City’s 100,000 square feet of themed spaces packed with more than 300 interactive exhibits will also be open the entire time for you to roam and explore!
